On November 24th, the Coppell Cowboys made the trip to Allen High School’s new stadium to face the Desoto Eagles – the highest-ranked team in Texas high school football. Thousands of Coppell fans showed their support, filling the large stadium with a mass of red and black. The Cowboys played an impressive game against the Eagles, but ultimately lost with a score of 42-14. Although the road to the state championship is now over, the team and community are already looking ahead to next year’s season. Photos by Lauren Ussery.
