This weekend, Coppell will be hosting its annual Fall Festival, Oak Fest. From 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday Oct 20, food, fun and contests will fill up Coppell’s own Andy Brown East park.
There is no cost to attend Oak Fest, but keep in mind, food vendors, games and contests will all cost money to enter. This Fall Festival brings out hundreds of Coppell residents who are looking celebrate the coming of the Fall Season and Halloween holiday.
This year, a Haunted Mile will make up a part of this year’s festival, with the one-mile fun run beginning at 4 p.m. Anyone interested in jogging the mile can register on Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. Be sure to sport a Halloween costume to be entered in the costume contest. The Coppell Chamber of Commerce will be supporting this event.
Also, food vendors will be eagerly selling foods such as hamburgers, turkey legs, funnel cakes, hot dogs and BBQ sandwiches. If none of this catches your eye, you can even bring your own picnic, but keep in mind no alcohol is allowed and vendors accept cash only.
Maiden Texas and Emerald City will be providing the music for the event. Maiden Texas is a trio of texas singers who will be performing country songs, and Emerald City is a little bit of everything.
No matter what you are looking for in food, fun or music, Oak Fest has a little bit of everything so be sure to come on out if you are looking for a good time.
