Teen Leadership Coppell (TLC) is a an organization consisting of 32 juniors from both New Tech High School and Coppell High School that meet once a month during school to build their leadership skills. In TLC’s last meeting, students met with various leaders from non-profit organizations and also discussed their annual community service project.
Last year, TLC members built a park for the physically handicapped in Coppell, however this year, TLC may be hosting a community concert featuring Coppell bands and clubs in which all proceeds will go to Taylor’s Gift.The concert would be held in the spring around March.
There is still some debate if this concert will be the set community service project, but it is leaning in that direction. Students will finalize their decision in their next meeting on Nov. 14.
