There is no school on Monday for Columbus Day and also Texas State Fair Day.
Take this opportunity to go to the State Fair of Texas, say “howdy” to Big Tex and try this year’s new fried delicacies, such as fried jambalaya and fried bacon cinnamon rolls. Students will receive a free fair ticket from there fourth period teacher.
Keep in mind, the temperatures on Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be below 70 degrees with a chance of rain on Saturday so dress accordingly.
If you can’t make it to the fair, spend some time with friends and family to go see Tim Burton’s new movie Frankenweenie or Taken 2.
Have a fun and safe three day weekend. Enjoy the State Fair of Texas or spending time with friends and family.
