If you’ve been on the internet, watch the news or listen to the radio chances are you’ve heard of the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case. A highly publicized case, it has been closely linked with the lingering problem of racism.
Zimmerman was held in custody and has been charged with second degree murder. He stood trial today, Thursday April 12. The case has been widely covered and many different sides of the story has come out. Zimmerman is now being held in jail and is set for formal arraignment on May 29 at 1:30.
