Valentine’s Day brings people the opportunity to express their love for each other. Whether this love is for a significant other, a family member, or a friend, the meaning can still be heartfelt and fun. For those of you who are searching for good ways to express your feelings towards someone, or an interesting way to celebrate the holiday, here is a list of Valentine’s Day ideas.
For a Significant Other:
1. Go to a drive-in movie.
2. Have a water gun/Nerf gun fight (depending on weather conditions).
3. Go to a restaurant with dancing.
4. Write each other a letter.
5. Give each other a series of small gifts throughout the day.
For a Family Member:
1. Make a special home-made valentine.
2. Have a game night.
3. Have a “Secret Cupid”-a Valentine’s Day “Secret Santa” gift exchange.
4. Make a family dinner where the parents make the dinner and kids make dessert (or vice versa).
5. Have a Valentine’s Day themed movie night: Watch a sappy movie, eat Valentine’s Day candies, wear red or pink.
For a Friend(s):
1. Bake something (cookies, cupcakes, brownies, you decide!). Be sure to decorate it in appropriate Valentine’s Day style.
2. Watch a cheesy movie together or play an old video game from when you were younger.
3. Go to eat at a fun restaurant, such as Magic Time Machine, or Jinbeh.
4. Exchange gag gifts, or presents that have an inside joke.
5. Have a karaoke night with love songs.
