Students put off homework to enjoy Halloween

By Coleman Armes
Staff Writer

Although it was on a Monday, many student decided their homework could be put off for later that night, in the morning or during school. There was a much more important matter to be taken care of: Halloween.

Whether it was at a party or on the streets many students decided to dress up and go out to enjoy the holiday and life in general.

One of the biggest attractions in Coppell is the haunted house off of Parkway Blvd. This house, ran in a Coppell resident’s backyard had been going strong for 9 years while also taking donations for the Make A Wish Foundation. However this was the last year this haunted house would take place.

Overall the streets were filled with kids in costumes walking with friends and receiving candy and older kids enjoying the privilege to scare younger kids.
