All students are aware that we have one of the best bands in the state, however not all students understand how much time band members dedicate to practice after school and during morning sectionals.
But why is the band practicing so much?
Well of course there are the weekly football games, however, BOA, or Band of America Regional Championsips, are approaching in November and the CHS band takes this regional competition very seriously. Around 50 Texas bands will be attending the championships which will be held in San Antonio and performing numerous musical pieces on the field for a set amount of time. Make sure to wish the CHS Band good luck on their upcoming competition and keep supporting the CHS Band!
