Some members of the CHS Latin Club have the opportunity to participate in the Junior Classical League (JCL), an event that celebrates many aspects of Latin and Greek language and culture through dramatic plays and oratory contests.
Eight students from the Latin Club are going to Houston this weekend for the North Central Texas JCL competition. It is being held on the 19th, and the CHS contestants are going to be having fun competing in the various contests offered there.
They can also participate in the 58th annual National Junior Classical League competition, which is also open to anyone.
