Coppell’s Hoops for Heart basketball games have been rescheduled for Monday night, beginning at 6 pm. After massive amounts of snow and ice took over the North Dallas area, the roads were considered unsafe and the games, originally scheduled for Feb. 1, were postponed.
Both the Cowboys and Cowgirls will play games tonight, with all proceeds from one game going towards the American Heart Association. Not the first year for the fundraiser, the 2010 Coppell Hoops for Heart raised over $1,000 in their Feb. 9 game against the Marcus Marauders. This year, the teams have aimed to raise triple their dollar from last year.
