Lil Rascals club still acception donations

Ashley Attanucci
Web Manager

Though the competetive clothing and blanket drive put on by Lil Rascals for the Phillip’s Wish foundation ended last Friday (congratulations to room E101 on collecting the most and earning a baked goods party), Lil Rascals is still accepting donations.

Drop off new or gently used blankets, coats, sweaters, gloves, scarfs, jackets and the like to Lil Rascal’s sponsor Coach and Physics teacher Clint Rushing’s room, B102, anytime throughout the week. So far, the foundation has collected over 40,000 blankets.

All that is collected will go to benefit the homeless of Dallas in honor of the late Corinne Peters, Coppell graduate of 2010, to whom the Phillip’s Wish event was dedicated this year.

For more information on the foundation and the 7-year-old boy who started it, visit phillipswish.com. Or, check the Facebook event started by club President and founder senior Shannon Conrad.
