Class of 26 watch sun soar from Buddy Echols Field during Senior Sunrise

On April 22 at 6:30 a.m., Coppell Student Council hosted the revered senior tradition: Senior Sunrise. Seniors gather one month prior to  graduation to watch the sun rise upon the world and they sign off for one last time. As the sun soars and picnic blankets wrap up, senior Sarah Kolassa said, “I wish we had more time to digest all of this, as all of my ‘senior visions’ are coming through.” Watch The SIdekick staff photographer Radhanaresh Kevin Gunnampalli’s video on Senior Sunrise.

Radhanaresh Kevin Gunnampalli is a junior and second-year member of The Sidekick. After winning the Gold Seal, Kevin’s passion grew for photography and gave him a new haven. He loves Formula 1 and roots for the McLaren Formula 1 Team and has aspirations to work in motorsports. Gunnampalli is a part of The Coppell Solar Car Motorsports Team, Technology Student Association, Vex Robotics, Photography Club, Aerospace Club and Reactive Shots. These clubs empower and provide tremendous support throughout his future career into a masters degree of Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Communications. He considered to be an extrovert and loves to socialize when possible. Whenever he is not working or watching cars, he spends his time watching films and sketching out new ideas for his comic book.
