Texas eradicated the “pink tax” on menstrual and maternity products during September 2023. The Sidekick staff writers Huda Rizwan and Caroline Ortuzar talk to Coppell High School AP Macroeconomics and microeconomics teacher Dani Roseberry about the tax’s economic effects along with Health Science teacher Kathryn Womochel and EmpowerHer club president Sahiti Godavarthi about the tax’s effect on women.
