Meet the 2025-26 Technology Student Association Officers

For the 2025-26 school year, CHS9 Technology Student Association TSA officers president Sai Kolli, vice president Fawwaz Mohammed, reporters Kiaan Chandra and Nimsha Shah, treasurers Dhyan Sati and Prithvi Pajankar, parliamentarians Aarush Karak and Siyona Sahu, secretaries Aashika Pravin Kumar and Yuki Yoshida, sergeant at arms Shlok Kathrani and Prisha Kapoor and public relations Arpit Mishra and Aayush Vaish are all dedicated to growing the TSA community.

Humming Hearts promotes healthy lifestyles and distributes cardio care packages to underprovided individuals.

Ananya Narala
Ananya Narala, Staff Writer
Ananya Narala is a junior and a second-year staff-writer at The Sidekick.  She joined Sidekick to further pursue her passion for writing and talking about what goes on throughout the Coppell community. Ananya has enjoyed writing since youth, immersing herself in writing everything she observes.  She enjoys listening to music like indie, r&b, and rap. She also loves making Spotify playlists, baking, and reading. Occasionally, she enjoys traveling to the beach and trying new cuisines. Neev Chickermane
Neev Chickermane, Staff Writer
Neev Chickermane is a junior and second-year staff writer for The Sidekick. After joining this program because he had a free elective period during his sophomore year, he found a love for all parts of the program. He especially loves writing feature and news stories and exploring the stories around the community.   In his free time, you can find him playing Brawl Stars, studying or listening to his favorite artists, Tame Impala and Saint Motel. He is part of Boy Scouts and also likes to participate in the Poetry Society. His favorite shows are “Stranger Things”and “My Life with the Walter Boys”.  Neev is a fanatic of capybaras and loves everything about them. He even has a shirt. Prathi Tamara Sathish Kumar
Prathi Tamara Sathish Kumar, Staff Writer
Prathi Tamara Sathish Kumar is a Junior and a second year staff writer for The Sidekick. After reading the print editions of The Sidekick her freshman year, Prathi discovered an interest in being the one to weave those stories. A lifelong lover of words, she started off believing she would only be a writer; however, Prathi is now very fascinated with design, podcasts and multimedia. She loves to use different varieties of storytelling as new and exciting ways to convey information and emotion. When she’s not writing songs and stories, you can find her reading and watching rom-coms bursting with clichés or listening to a playlist full of music that would get her labeled a “basic” pop princess (with artists including Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter and more). Prisha Hooda

Prisha Hooda is a junior at Coppell High School and a second year staff member on The Sidekick. She joined The Sidekick to further deepen her understanding of visual media due to her passion in creative arts. Though she spent her childhood striving to excel at drawing, she later discovered photography as her true artistic outlet. Riya Suresh
Riya Suresh, Staff Writer
Riya Suresh is a junior and a second-year staff writer for The Sidekick. Despite joining The Sidekick to be a writer, she loves exploring other positions such as photography and design. When she’s not doing homework or working on a story, Riya is always down to work out, try new foods, shop around at Southlake Town Square or watch horror movies. She also plays the New York Times games religiously, and she specifically enjoys Pips. Zaara Shaik
Zaara Shaik, Assignment Editor
Zaara Shaik is a junior and the assignment editor for The Sidekick. When not producing breaking news content or The Sidekick Scoop, she enjoys baking a variety of desserts, spending time with her family and friends, trying new coffees from different cafes and watching a good show from time to time. Yug Talukdar
Yug Talukdar, Executive Editor-in-Chief
Yug Talukdar is a senior at Coppell High School and the editor-in-chief of The Sidekick. After deciding to delve into something new sophomore year, Yug found an interest in writing and covering events for The Sidekick, which has helped him develop a new skills and become a better, more well-rounded person.
