Coppell High School’s large gym filled with energy on Thursday evening as students explored opportunities at the Texas Association of College Registrars and Admission Officers’ Fall 2025 College Fair, one of more than 30 fairs scheduled across Texas this fall.
According to TACRAO, the fall schedule spans 20 regions from September through November, including eight fairs in Dallas and seven across Houston and Fort Worth. The tour brings colleges directly to high school campuses, making access easier for students statewide.
Income partner at Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, Lisa Large said the scope of the fairs makes a lasting impact.
“With multiple fairs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area alone, Coppell students do not have to travel far to connect with universities from across the country,” Large said.
For representatives, Coppell’s fair highlighted how prepared students are. Enrollment Adviser at Hult International Business School Mara Drew noted the intentionality of their questions.
“Students here are asking about internships and outcomes, not just majors,” Drew said. “That tells me they are using these fairs the way they are meant to be used, as a research tool.”
CHS junior Sanjana Mallidi said the chance to speak with multiple schools at once was invaluable.
“I want to compare programs and see how different colleges prepare students for careers,” Mallidi said. “Having so many options right here at CHS makes the process less overwhelming.”
