Capturing Coppell is a Sidekick series detailing events involving Coppell High School and Coppell ISD happening this week. It will be posted every Monday for the rest of the 2022-23 school year.

  • Early voting for Texas midterm elections starts today. More information about the election can be found here. A breakdown of the candidates running during this election can be found on coppellstudentmedia.com.
  • On Tuesday, Coppell City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers at Town Center.
  • On Tuesday, CISD hosts Virtual Parent University on Signs of Substance Abuse. The event will be held via Zoom from 6 – 7 p.m. To sign up for the event, fill out this Google Form. 
  • On Thursday, New Tech High@ Coppell hosts the annual haunted house and fall festival. The festival runs from 5 – 6:30 p.m. The haunted house runs from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. with an entrance fee of $5.
  • Cowboy Theatre Company presents “Eurydice” on Friday at 7 p.m. The play runs on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
