Akshaya Ashokanand is a senior and a first-year staff writer for the Sidekick.
She was prompted to join by the unique journalism experiences available through the course. She is an avid reader and joined to grow her aspirations of being an informative writer.
She enjoys reading historical fiction novels and crocheting in her free time. She is also on the cross country team and enjoys going on runs. Her favorite book is Fifty Words for Rain by Asha Lemming.
