Maddy Park is a senior and a second-year staff photographer on The Sidekick.
Maddy ended up in The Sidekick in an unexpected way. After landing a leg injury in soccer, she thought, why not join the school’s newspaper? From owning Sidekick subscriptions before, she enjoyed reading the newspaper and decided that she wanted to be a part of the process.
When she’s not taking photos, she can be seen making art as she has been a part of Coppell High School’s art program for four years. Outside of school, she plays for her club soccer team, DKSC, and enjoys hanging out with her German Shepherd and black cat. She loves boba tea and any non-spicy Korean food. Her favorite movie is “La La Land” and she loves listening to all sorts of music.

Sohana Singh, Staff Photographer
Sohana Singh is a senior and a second-year staff photographer for The Sidekick.
She joined The Sidekick because of an interest in exploring photography and writing in a new setting, as she believes in the value of journalism to uncover the truth and tell compelling stories.
Singh is a member of the Technology Student Association and the Society of Women Engineers at CHS, and hopes to pursue a career in engineering in the future. In her free time, she likes to skateboard, play video games (especially Zelda and Final Fantasy), and play the french horn and piano. You can often find her listening to her favorite music artists, the Arctic Monkeys or Two Door Cinema Club.
