The Coppell girls soccer team plays Lewisville tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at Buddy Echols Field.

The Cowgirls defeated Lewisville, 2-0, on Jan. 31.

“During this second half of season when we have played every team once, we now know how to best set up our game plan to exploit their weaknesses the second time,” Coppell senior center forward Alyssa Roemer said.

Roemer and the girls practice in the weight room and also practice getting as many touches on the ball as they can. To recuperate, the girls also have a recovery day once a week, with ice baths and stretching to help prepare their muscles for the upcoming game.

“We’ve put in a lot of effort for this game and no matter what the outcome is, I know we did our best,” Roemer said.
