Chocolate covered strawberries that surpass a fancy restaurant

Valentine’s Day sweets are a great addition to any meal or gift. These tasty chocolate covered strawberries are a key to making someone’s holiday extra special.

 With the hassle that comes with planning a day filled with romance and passion, nothing says “love” like preparing easy, homemade desserts for you and your partner.

 

As the season of love approaches, sweeten it up with these delicious chocolate strawberries to enjoy with your significant other. They are guaranteed to excite your palate.

 

Servings: 4-5

Serving size: 1-3 strawberries

Ingredients: 

-parchment paper

-toothpicks (optional)

-nuts (optional, recommend almonds)

-sprinkles (optional)

-strawberries

-24 oz. Nestle Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels 

 

Directions: 

  1. Using a glass bowl, melt chocolate morsels in microwave. Melt in 30 second increments, stirring occasionally until fully smooth.
  2. Line pan with a sheet of parchment paper.
  3. Slice handful of almonds into slivers.
  4. Stick toothpick into the stem and dip strawberries into melted chocolate, twisting until fully coated.
  5. Let excess chocolate drip off strawberries and back into . Place dipped strawberries on parchment paper to harden.
  6. Place crushed almonds or sprinkles onto each strawberry as decoration.
  7. Cool for 30 minutes in fridge.
  8. Enjoy!
