After a disappointing loss to Lewisville, 57-54, on Tuesday, the Cowboys are looking to rebound against Flower Mound Marcus tomorrow at 8 p.m. in the CHS Arena.

While Coppell (6-2) defeated the Marauders, 72-43, in the season’s first meeting, the Cowboys are aiming to keep their place atop the District 6-6A standings by defeating fourth-ranked Marcus, which holds the same district record but has a worse overall record.

Coppell coach Clint Schnell also has high expectations for tomorrow’s game.

“I tell the guys everyday the next game is our biggest game of the year,” Schnell said. “We’re in first place and everyone has been gunning after us, so we have got to play how we play and not worry about Marcus and do what we do.”
