Fundraising is an essential part of any extra curricular activity. The Coppell High School debate team has initated several attempts to make money for their account.
We started selling snow cones at the beginning of the year, but as winter approached, snow cones were not feasible anymore. On April 10, we hosted a garage sale where all of us took shifts selling items donated from community members. Needless to say, the garage sale was a brilliant idea, as we closed off the Saturday afternoon with over $600, enough to pay for nationals.
Last night we hosted another fundraiser at Fat Daddy’s. If you placed your receipt in the box that said “help the Coppell Debate team raise money for next year” then it was greatly appreciated as 10% of your total was donated to us.
On Wednesday, April 21 we will be hosting a similar fundraiser at Cici’s. Come out and enhoy an all you can eat buffet, and on your way out, place your receipt in the box to help support our team.
This won’t be the end of our fundraising schemes, but this may be it for the year, so donate generously. Thank you.
Hope to see you there!
