Rockwall-Heath will travel to Buddy Echols Field tonight at 7:30 p.m. to play the Cowboys in their last match before the start of the District 6-6A season this Friday.

Coppell looks to rebound from a 1-0 loss to McKinney Boyd last week.

“For the past couple of games, we have been trying different things, putting players in different spots and trying new formations,” Coppell senior forward Tom Vazhekatt said. “We are just seeing what works for us so we can be in the best position when district starts on Friday.”

Coppell is 4-4-2, while Rockwall-Heath of District 11-6A is 1-5-2 and winless in five matches.

“We cannot let our guard down,” Vazhekatt said. “The teams they have lost to and tied to are quality teams. You cannot judge a team in preseason because they are always trying new things, so you never know what they will bring to the table.”
