The Coppell volleyball team plays Lewisville tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. in the CHS Arena for the second time this season. The Cowgirls are 5-3 in District 6-6A, having won the first match against the Farmers on Sept. 17.

“Now we have film of us playing them,” Coppell junior setter/defensive specialist Mari Taira said. “They have definitely changed since last year; they have new people and their strengths are different.”

A win keeps the Cowgirls in contention for a top playoff spot from the district.

“We’re hoping to beat them in three sets, but anything could happen,” Taira said.”I’m confident that if we work hard and play at our level we can beat them.”
