Today, the city held its General Municipal Election for the city council and CISD school board, bringing out both candidates and eager voters to Town Center.

Candidates running for city council include Karen Hunt (Incumbent Mayor), Davin Bernstein (Mayor), Biju Mathew (Place 6) and John Jun (Place 6) and Aaron Bitter (Place 6).

Candidates running for the CISD school board include Balki Chamkura (Place 2), Manish Sethi (Place 2), Nichole Bentley (Place 6), Dan Koller (Place 6), Lynne Ryan (Place 6), Tracy Fisher (Place 7) and Ron Hansen (Place 7).
