TCE set to unveil new herb garden

Ever dream of helping out your community by planting a nice community garden? Ever think you could not do that all on your own?

Well, one Coppell High School student wants to prove that you can do it.

On Friday, CHS junior Rachel Kass will be unveiling the new herb bed at Town Center Elementary.

Kass started the project as a part of her Girl Scout Gold Award and has been actively involved at the Helping Hands Community Garden since she was in elementary school. The TCE green team will be helping her plant bed during Texan Town and the TCE kitchen staff will maintain the herb bed so they can regularly use the herbs in their cooking.

After school at 3:15 p.m., Kass will be hosting garden related activities and offering snacks to any guests that come.
