Due to the raining and inclement weather all over the Dallas/Fort Worth area, there have been some cancellations of Coppell outdoor sporting events this weekend.
The varsity tennis team had a tournament scheduled in Denton Guyer today but the down pour has prevented the matches from taking place. The squad has played fairly well thus far this season, and was looking to continue that, it is unclear when the tournament will be rescheduled.
The girls’ varsity soccer was set to face McKinney tonight at McKinney and Saturday’s match with Austin St. Stevens may also be cancelled. The team is 8-2-4 on the season, riding on a two game winning streaking in which they outscored their opponent 9-1. District play begins next Friday against Southlake Carroll; start time is 7:30pm.
