Few words can describe the terror that has accompanied our world within the past weeks. While most of us remain inside the confines of Coppell, helpess civilians scavage for the last semblance of their past lives. Although we cannot be present (and most likely would not wish to be) at such places, it is important we are aware of the reality of right now. It is a sad time for humanity.
1. Haitians experience further trauma – At 6:03 a.m., Haitians awoke by what seemed to be another nightmare. A 6.1 magnitude aftershock struck the city in an area approximately 36 miles west of the ravaged capital of Port-au-Prince. It is reported that prayers of forgiveness could be heard from hospital beds and street corners. The death toll as of now is 70,000 bodies, yet is projected to reach nearly 200,000.

2. Liberia in “World War III” – The Vice Guide to Liberia has recently been publicizing the civil war ravaging Monrovia, Liberia. It has been deemed an equivalent to a “post-apocalyptic armageddon” that has been present for centuries. Over the years, rebel leaders have overthrown political powers and thus thrown the country into a savage condition.

3. China claims Google conspiracy – A Google crisis has been mounting in the past months, as some have claimed that Google is being used as U.S. propoganda for political pursuits. Apparently, Google has contemplated about pulling out of China, a radical decision that has compelled the Chinese government to dub this move a conspiracy.
