On Feb. 16, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Alan November will be visiting Coppell High School to speak to Coppell ISD parents about Global Communication.
Technology and Learning Magazine named November one of the nation’s 15 most influential thinkers of the decade. His writing includes numerous articles and two bestselling books, “Empowering Students with Technology” and “Web Literacy for Educators”.
November will be teaching parents about safe and moderated social web-based tools, as well as how to be appropriate and use ethical behavior on the Internet. He will also be speaking to district educators on Feb. 16 during district staff development.
Parents will also learn skills on how to encourage their son or daughter in building learning communities across all of their classes, which could in turn help them take responsibility for the quality of their work.
