Tonight the Coppell Cowgirls face Richland in their homecoming match at 5:30 p.m. at Coppell High School.
After a tough match on Tuesday night against Colleyville Heritage where the Cowgirls lost in four games, the Cowgirls plan on adjusting in order to ensure a win tonight.
“We need to make sure that we move on after Tuesday’s loss and focus on the game ahead of us,” senior defensive specialist Nikki Gowdy said. “If we do that I know we have a good chance of winning tonight.”
The Cowgirls agree that as long as they play the way they know how, they should be able to come out with wins for the rest of district play.
“Tonight our challenge is going to come from our own side of the net,” senior setter Kylie Pickrell said. “This is going to be a great match to focus on our own game as we head into the final games of district.”
