UIL season is coming up, and now is the time for students to begin considering whether or not they’re up for the competition. What better way to decide than to go to a kick-off meeting complete with free food?
After school on Tuesday, Dec. 15, the UIL sponsors will be hosting a meeting for prospective competitors in the lecture hall to discuss the upcoming competition season and enjoy free pizza and drinks (courtesy of Mr. Hunt).
Not sure if UIL is right for you? Not to worry — the competition is open to anyone who is commited to their subject. Subjects include science, math, social studies, spelling and current events. The meeting will help you find your niche in the crazy world of academic competition and introduce you to the UIL program as a whole.
If you have any quetions about the meeting or the competition season in general, see Mr. Wofford in D115.
And did I mention…free food? Because, yeah, that’ll be there.
