This coming Wednesday, June 5, from 10 a.m.-noon The Coppell Senior Center will be hosting a Health and Wellness Fair with a One-Miler Social Walk to kick off the event at 9:30 a.m.

T-shirts for the walk are free of charge to Coppell Senior Center members and $7 for non-members and the walk is free for all. Registration for walkers will begin at 8:30 a.m. the day off however pre-registration is also allowed.

Wallgreens-Coppell will be at the event to pass out a “Wallgreens Walking Kit” complete with a pedometer and tracking booklet.

The Health and Wellness Fair will include the following vendors: Run On! Coppell, Dallas Arboretum, The Senior Source, Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Outpatient Services-Coppell, Zounds Hearing of North Texas, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Cover Tek, Inc. and many others.

Participants will also be able to experience healthy food demonstrations by Texas Agrillife Extension and CPR & Fire Safety classes by the Coppell Fire Department.
