Since the beginning of the second semester the AP Environmental Science classes have been working with other CISD schools to help make their campus more sustainable. Yesterday, these campuses all gathered in the CHS commons for the annual Sustainability Expo that showed off what all the students had done in order for there school to be greener.
Town Center Elementary, for example, have put signs outside on the parent loop for parents to shut off their cars while waiting so the can lower the Co2 emissions. The Town Center Green Team has also helped in recycling and are planning to build a garden in the playground this fall.
AP Environmental Science students are currently working on videos to give the campuses and students of the green team in order to congratulate them on their success through out the year.
