Every day, members of the Coppell Fire Department and Coppell Police Department risk their lives to protect the City of Coppell, starting this Sunday, May 19 National EMS Week will honor these men and women.
EMS, or Emergency Medical Service, responders provide emergency medical services as paramedics and work long hours to protect the public. These responders are truly passionate about their jobs and have touched the lives of thousands. This week marks a time of remembrance and appreciation, that these emergency responders so clearly deserve.
These “all emergency” responders do all possible to provide medical treatment before arriving at the hospital, and save lives on a regular basis. According to the National EMS website, the mission of the dedicated workers is to provide services “quickly, professionally and compassionately” under situations of extreme importance and stress.
All National EMS week asks is that the community members take a moment to appreciate these workers. The Coppell Fire Department invites the community to celebrate through booking group tours. By calling (972)-304-3512, tours can be scheduled to take groups inside the stations where these workers anxiously await whatever their next duty will require.
