As people run or bike along the trails at Andy Brown East near the Aquatic center, they will see an uneven shoreline.
The continued erosion of the shoreline is due to the rising and falling levels of the activity lake. People who live nearby are losing land and the possibility of interfering with the sidewalks is almost inescapable. However, the city of Coppell will be starting to make a seawall to combat the issue.
There will be a concrete base stone along the shoreline. Since this is a temporary fix, the final solution will be decided during the Andy Brown Jr. Redevelopment Project.
