Whether it is marching season or concert season, CHS band members always have something going on year round. These students are especially busy right now in the midst of concert season and various contests. After the percussion section recently debuted their work at their annual performance, Purely Rhythmic, the whole band is getting the chance to display their talents.
Tonight, the CHS band is holding a concert in the auditorium beginning at 7 p.m. During the concert, all five bands within the CHS band program will be performing music they have been working on for the past few months. They will later go to UIL band competitions with these pieces. The concert provides a way for the band to practice performing in front of an audience before actual competitions. It is also a great way for the band to show off what they have been working so hard on for the past few months.
If you are interested in seeing the award-winning CHS band perform, head to the auditorium tonight!
