From peculiar photos to vintage lanterns, the William T. Cozby Library included it all in this year’s Between the Lines reading program.
The program was over the book miss peregrine’s home for peculiar children, this book brought on two different contests. A photo and a writing contest. There was also vintage photo session where students dressed up in old clothes and took the most peculiar pictures. Afterwards with the help of the librarians they edited the pictures to make them even more unique.
The library incorporated their monthly Teen Interest Group with the Between the Lines program by having a TIG night that included an opportunity to create their own vintage lantern from old jars.
This year’s Between the Lines reading program may be over, however there will be another one next year with a whole new book and brand new activities. Students can also join the Teen Interest Group to be more involved in the library.
