On Monday, May 11, the Coppell school board will vote on a new $79.5 million bond that will go towards a new elementary school, and even an expansion and updates to Coppell High School.
The bond will also provide educational and technology updates for the entire district, and the proposed expansion of the high school will include a new multi-purpose gym, an expansion of the field house, and if the bond is passed, there will be security and infrastructure updates campus and district wide.
The bond will, if passed, result in an increase of taxes for city residents to just over $159.
