If there is one thing that everyone on Earth has in common, it is that we all have parents. The love and appreciation for one’s parents is a feeling many can identify with. It is because of this feeling that individuals work so hard to care for their parents as they become weaker with age.
First United Methodist Church of Coppell is bringing in Lynda Enders, elder-care specialist at The Senior Source, to host a special seminar on how to care for your parents if they become senile or sickly.
Enders’ presentation will offer advice about the difficulties of “eldercare“, caring for a dependent, elderly adult. This includes how to make well-informed decisions about their housing, health care, emotional issues and finances.
The seminar, entitled “Caregiving Heroes, is open to the public and any family caregivers in the community that wish to attend. It is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. on March 6 in Wesley Hall of FUMC Coppell.
