For students looking for fun ways to stay fit, Coppell’s local gyms offer a variety of ways for students to stay in shape. In addition to the gyms’ wide range of exercise equipment such as treadmills and elliptical machies, group fitness classes offer members the perfect way to exercise.
At the Coppell YMCA, there are plenty of classes to choose from starting from the early hours in the morning up until evening. Some of the most popular classes include Zumba, yoga and kickboxing. There are also several morning classes for those wishing to to work out before they go to school. Most mornings have a cycling class that occurs at 6:00 a.m.
At Texas Family Fitness, students can take some of the same classes that are offered at the YMCA and a several exclusive classes only available at this gym. One of the most popular classes at Texas Family Fitness is the latin dancing class, which can be taken by people that have had no previous dance training.
