Durign the Lenten season, a religious fasting leading up to Easter, members of the Catholic faith sacrifice something that is part of their daily lives. During this fast, Catholics are not allowed to consume meat on Fridays. In honor of this, St Ann Catholic Parish in Coppell hosts a fish fry every Friday to help Catholic’s choose the right meal.
This year, the fish fry has decided to have theme days. Those days include, a Tex Mex night, a French night, an Asian night, a Cajun night and an Italian night as well as the traditional night. Many memebers of the church gather together in the Assembly room to chat and eat as a parish. For more information on the St. Ann Fish Fry, click here.
