Theft at CHS has been particulalry problematic this year, with as many as three thefts reported to campus officers each day, and four this week alone.
Theives target unlocked lockers and lone backpacks outside classrooms most of the time, and hot items are iPods, cell phones and cash. Students are advised to keep these items carefully locked up or to try not to bring them to school in the first place.
