Brad Hunt currently serves as Assistant Superintendent for Administration for Coppell ISD where he works with Dr. Jeff Turner on Strategic Plan initiatives and oversees human resources and communications. Hunt also works in the CISD Department of Student Services as Level II Hearing Officer and JJAEP Placement Officer.
Before presuming this position on the CISD Administration Board, Hunt spent the majority of his career in Coppell. He began as a teacher at Coppell High School from 1990-1996 and continued to become the assistant principal at Coppell Middle School West. In 2001, he left Coppell to work as principle of Carroll Middle School in Southlake, but returned to Coppell in 2005 as a director of human resources for two years before becoming CHS principal in 2006.
Though he loved his job at CHS, his career aspirations to become superintendent led him to take the first step towards this goal and assume his current position. He takes pride in knowing he has not left his students, but is instead serving Coppell students at the assistant superintendent level.
“I miss Coppell High School, but I’ll always be a Cowboy,” Hunt said. “Cowboy fight never dies.”
