People of all ages crowd the school, viewing various exhibits and consulting with various representatives. This is not a normal school day; it is the fifth annual engineering expo. This year the expo will be held November 4 at Coppell High School. It starts at 2 and will end at 5.
Thousands of people are expected to attend and for the opportunity to meet engineering university representatives, practicing engineers and hear from speakers. There will also be demonstrations by Coppell Solar Car and First Robotics teams.
The expo is free for all attendees, though parents who would like to acknowledge their student in the program can fill out the “Shout-Out” advertising form.
When people get to the school they will be given an entrance survey they have to enter before entering the expo. The survey consists of basic questions such as: Number of attendees, school they are from, and how did they hear about the expo.
This expo has gotten much recognition over the past couple of years and has even been reported on by the Fox 4 news. This opportunity only comes once a year and is sure to be enlightening to people of all ages.
