Who says that man’s best friends cannot have their own social event within their city?
Coppell will be hosting their ninth annual Bark in the Park event this Sunday, Oct. 28, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Andy Brown East Park for all local families and their dogs to gather together and have a good time. The city is providing food, prizes and plenty of room for the dogs to roam. For a little Halloween fun, there will even be a costume contest for both kids and dogs at 2 p.m.
If families are not already registered, the price to get in is $10, and all proceeds go to Child Abuse Prevention, Scholarships and the Humane Society. The Coppell Exchange Club has provided contact information and regulations here. They have asked that all dogs be socially appropriate and fully vaccinated for the safety and respect of the public at this event.
