After entering regionals as district 6-5A’s number one seed, Coppell was eliminated in the tournament quarterfinals.
In the first round of the tournament, Coppell dominated El Paso Franklin 10-2.
Their second and final match, against Abilene (ranked fourth in state), ended in a 10-2 loss.
The team’s elimination officially ends the team tennis season.
