As the first three week mark of the school year approaches, several CHS students get ready to drop rigorous classes. This includes classes such as AP U.S. History and AP math classes. Being able to drop classes and switch into different ones gives students a chance to obtain higher grades and become more successful in classes.
“I decided to drop APUSH because there is so much studying. Between other classes and my job I don’t have enough time to get everyting done,” Junior Kaylan Smith said.
Forms to drop classes are avaliable in Student Services and are due back Thursday September 13 at 4:00 p.m in Student Services. New schedules will be distributed from Student Services for tenth to twelth graders on Monday September 17 beginning at 7:45 a.m and in the ninth grade center beginning at 7:45 a.m for freshman.
