Last may, Coppell High School soccer coach Chad Rakestraw received the news that his 13 month old daughter, Kamryn, was diagnosed with a form of cancer known as Neuroblastoma.
As the family battles through the cancer, the CHS varsity volleyball team and other athletic teams have organized a t-shirt fundraiser with all profits going directly to the Rakestraw family.
In addition to selling t-shirts, the volleyball and football games tomorrow night will be in honor of Kamryn. The volleyball game starts at 7:00 p.m. in the CHS gym, and the football game starts at 7:30 p.m. in the CHS stadium.
Everyone attending is encouraged to wear the t-shirt, which can be purchased during all lunches and during the games. All proceeds will go to help pay for the medical bills for her treatment.
