After months of construction and renovation, the Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center recently reopened its doors. With state-of-the- art exercise equipment in the newly created fitness center and updates in their indoor aquatic center, the Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center has been busy with community members eager to experience the new facility.
In honor of the recent re-opening, there will be a ceremony on Sat. May 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, entertainment and fitness activity demonstrations. The outdoor aqutic center will also open for its summer session at the ceremony.
The expansion of the center added over 11,000 square feet to the center costing roughly around seven million dollars for the update. The Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center offers child care, group fitness classes, swimming lessons and many more activities to suit community members of all ages. If looking for a way to have fun this summer, the center is the perfect place for the whole family.
