Come to the CHS library tomorrow night from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. to see the AP art show. Here, students from AP 2-D design, 3-D art and AP drawing classes will have their portfolio pieces showcased.
Students have been preparing for this event throughout the year, adding to their portfolio as their talents progressed. Preparations for the show in particular have become increasingly more intense as the show draws nearer.
“We have been preparing invitations and matting our artwork for display for about a week now,” senior AP drawing student Martin Kalev said.
Refreshments will be provided for those who attend, and they will be able to discuss the pieces with the student artists. Considering their overwhelming success at this year’s VASE competition, there is certain to be some excellent art on display.
